It's been a while since we've updated the site but we've been busy over the new year period. We kicked 2010 off with an acoustic session in aaron's living room, working on new songs and re-working some older material. Since that, we are delighted to have been asked to transform ourselves into "Lifelines" to act as a backing band for a gig playing A-Ha songs. While this distracts from the usual WBW business, we are finding it hugely exciting and educational to work on somebody else's songs and lending our own flavour to them. news on the gig when it happens! Of course this means that the planned EP has been delayed a little but will hopefully include a brand new song that we've been working on in the meantime. We've also been busy spreading ourselves around the web, so head to the links page to find out where we're at and download tracks, watch video and read our inane ramblings.

The TV ads are telling us its christmas (i don't believe it personally...) and wbw are busy thinking about our next round of recording. we are going to be parking ourselves up at an undisclosed location in south london to record a few tracks in the new year. we're hoping to get at least two tracks recorded and mixed and available by february. hopefully the lessons learned from the last recording as well as some new gear and some new ideas will make this production even better.

Aurora will be playing on november 12th with us at The Royal George. Aurora is a friend of mine called Ram, playing lovely big rock songs on his acoustic guitar. I was lucky enough to play bass for him on his TV debut last year on Nuts TV on a track called Jeannie's Song. We hope to announce the other band who will be playing very soon. aaron.

welcome to the slightly shinier and nicer world before wireless website! well, i like it. so what have we been up to? not much as it happens. the summer has been long and filled with weddings to go to, holidays to be had and stuff to sort out. but despite all that boring stuff, we've got a couple of new tracks that we're preparing to record and release before christmas. as well as that we played at the windmill in brixton for the first time - one of the best venues around!. our EP transistor:resistor is still available and the first track "Ask" received a welcome play on the Smalltown America blogcast recently - head to www.smalltownamericarecords.blogspot.com to have a listen to all the great blogs they've recorded.
